Swiftkey Beta has been updated with a bunch of new features like GIF support, hashtag prediction and more languages for transliteration. The popular third party keyboard finally supports GIFs that will enhance your chatting experience.

Yesterday, Facebook rolled out GIF support for comments on the occasion of 30th anniversary of GIF. You can access GIFs from the emoji panel in Swiftkey keyboard. Up next, the beta update adds trending hashtag predictions along with regular word predictions. Finally, a number of Indian regional languages including  Bangla, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi and Telugu have received support for transliteration. The update also improves transliteration for Tamil language.

Along with these major features, the beta update has fixed couple of issues like no more crashing when deleting punctuation in the Japanese layout and no crashing when deleting “!”.
