Google releases an “exclusive” Play Music feature for Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+

Google Play Music has launched an exclusive feature for Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ users. Dubbed as New Release Radio, the feature that will offer personalized music of new releases that is updated on daily basis.

The songs are recommended considering your music listening history and your favourites. The latest feature comes months after Google and Samsung teamed up to make Play Music as the default music player on Samsung phones globally. Under the partnership, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ owners will be able to upload and stream up to 100,000 of your own songs to Google Play Music for free. This limit is 50,000 for other Play Music users.

It looks like the New Release Radio feature is not exclusive to Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ devices as some Reddit users have revealed that they can use the feature on non-Samsung devices by adding the station to their library through the desktop version of the webpage.
