Google has updated its smart chat app Allo with a new feature that is helpful especially for people who use Duo video calling app. With the latest update, you can now start a Duo video call right from inside Allo while chatting. The new feature was confirmed by Google’s Allo and Duo leader Amit Fulay today via Twitter:

If a recipient of a Duo invitation in Allo doesn’t have Duo installed, they will be notified and asked to install Duo. The integration will be pretty helpful for users who regularly use Allo and Duo. In addition, Google has also updated Allo by adding the ability to add stickers to photos inside the app itself.
The Duo integration suggests that Google is trying to lure users into using both the apps that were launched last year at I/O conference.
