OnePlus today unveiled its flagship OnePlus 5 smartphone at an online event. It is the successor of the OnePlus 3T and has a completely new design compared to its predecessor. Check out the unboxing below.

OnePlus is using the same Dash Charge tech that was introduced with the OnePlus 3 so the phone comes with a Dash Power Adapter (5V-4A) and a Dash Type-C Cable for fast charging.
The OnePlus 5 has a 5.5-inch 1080p Optic AMOLED 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display with sRGB and DCI-P3 color coverage and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform. Running on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with Oxygen OS. It has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with Sony IMX371 sensor, 1.0μm pixel size and f/2.0 aperture.
The phone has a unibody metal design but the antennas have been moved to the top and the bottom part of the phone.
It has dual rear camera arrangement that combines wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens to capture depth information for bokeh effect that blurs backdrops in portrait mode. It has a 16-megapixel primary rear camera with Sony IMX398 sensor, wide-angle lens, large f/1.7 aperture along with a 20-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.6 aperture and Sony IMX350 sensor.
It has 6GB / 8GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage based on UFS 2.1. It packs a 3300mAh built-in battery with support for Dash Charge fast charging tech.
The OnePlus 5 starts at Rs. 32,999 for the base Slate Gray 6GB RAM with 64GB version in and the Midnight Black 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs Rs. 37,999. It will go on sale on from June 22nd at 4:30PM exclusively on Amazon.in.
