HMD Global launched the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 Android smartphones in India last week. The Nokia 3 was the company’s first Android phone to go on sale last week for Rs. 9,499. The Nokia 3 has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass display and is powered by a Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit Processor. Running on stock Android 7.0 (Nougat) OS, it has a 8-megapixel autofocus front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
It has a polycarbonate back and a metal frame, but the antenna bands are present on the top and bottom part of the back. It has dedicated nano SIM slots and a microSD card slot. On the back there is a 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, similar to the front. It has 4G VoLTE support and packs a 2650mAh battery.
It has ‘Made in India branding’ along with ‘Designed by HMD Global Oy’ branding. The smartphone is already available across India. Nokia 5 pre-booking starts on July 7 and will be available exclusively from offline stores and Nokia 6 will be available exclusively from Amazon.in with registrations starting July 14th.
