OnePlus today launched the OnePlus 5 in India following its global announcement recently. We have got our hands on the Midnight Black variant of the phone, so let’s take a detailed look at specifications and hardware in this photo gallery.
The OnePlus 5 sports an Anodized Aluminum unibody metal design and is just 7.25mm thick. It has a sleek design that leads to easier handling of the phone. The phone features a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD Optic AMOLED 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display. Up front there is a 16MP camera Sony IMX371 sensor, an earpiece and usual set of proximity and ambient light sensor. It is powered by a 2.45GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor and comes with 6GB or 8GB RAM.
There is a ceramic fingerprint sensor below the display that can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds. The phone runs Android 7.0 with Oxygen OS on top.

The left side houses volume rockers and the alert slider.
You can find the 3.5mm audio headphone jack, loudspeaker grill and USB Type C port at the bottom. The phone measures 154.2×74.1×7.25mm and weighs 153g.
It has been said a lot but the OnePlus 5 design does resemble a lot like iPhone 7 with especially with the placement of dual rear cameras and LED flash. The OnePlus logo is present at the center.
Connectivity options on the phone includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C and NFC. It has a 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge.
The OnePlus 5 Slate Gray 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version is priced at Rs. 32,999 and the top-end Midnight Black 8GB RAM with 128GB version costs Rs. 37,999. It is available exclusively from Amazon.in.
