Vivo has sent out invites for the announcement of its top-end X9s and X9s Plus smartphones on July 6. These are the successors of last year’s X9 and X9 Plus smartphones, will come with dual front-facing selfie cameras, unibody metal design and a fingerprint sensor on the front, similar to the predecessors
Vivo already confirmed that the X9s will have a display with 1.59mm ultra-narrow frame and the image confirms a curved metal unibody design with antenna lines on the top and the bottom parts of the metal back. Rumors point to 20-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual front camera arrangement and a 16-megapixel rear camera.
These are said to run Android 7.1 (Nougat) with Funtouch OS on top. The Vivo X9s Plus is expected to come with a 5.85-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, 6GB RAM, 64GB of storage and a 3950mAh battery.
The event takes place at 751 D-Park, Beijing and starts at 8:00 PM China Time (5:30 PM IST) on July 6th. We should know all the details about these smartphones next Thursday.
