HTC is working on a new mid range smartphone under the U series. Codenamed as Ocean Life, detailed specification of the phone were shared by popular HTC tipster LlabTooFeR via Twitter.

The HTC Ocean Life is said to sport a 5.2-inch Full HD display and will be powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC processor. It will have 16-megapixel front and rear cameras similar to the HTC U Play. The Ocean Life is expected to come with a 2600mAh battery and support Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity as well. It will run Android 7.1.1 and Sense 9.0 on top. The battery capacity is fixed at 2,600mAh.

Considering the specifications, the HTC Ocean Life looks like a smaller and more affordable version of the HTC U11 flagship. Finally, the phone will come with HTC USonic technology. This means it will not have a 3.5mm headphone jack and will run audio through its USB Type-C port instead.
