Meizu has finally sent out invites for the announcement of its flagship PRO 7 smartphone on July 26th. The invite confirms the secondary display on the back. It is tipped to be an E-ink display that we have seen on the Yotaphone. The company is also expected to announce PRO 7 Plus, a larger version of the phone.
According to rumors, the Meizu Pro 7 will sport a 5.2 inch display while the Pro 7 Plus has 5.7 inch display. Both the phones are said to be powered by Helio X30 processor and feature two 12MP sensors from Sony (IMX386 and IMX286) along with a 16MP selfie shooter.
Both the phones are expected to come with USB Type-C connectivity, 3.5mm headphone jack and loudspeaker grills at the bottom, Power and volume rockers on the right and home button below the displa with embedded fingerprint sensor.
The Meizu Pro 7 is rumored to be priced at 2,799 yuan (US$413 / 26.600 approx.) and the Meizu Pro 7 Plus is said to cost 3,299 yuan (US$487 / Rs. 31,350 approx.) and 3,799 yuan (US$ 561 / Rs. 36,105 approx.) for two different versions.
The Meizu Pro 7 announcement takes place at Zhuhai Opera House on July 26th and starts at 7:30 PM China Time (5:00 PM IST). We should know all the details next week.
