Details about Redmi 5 surfaced last week. Now promo images for the upcoming Mi 5X has surfaced in China. This reveals the smartphone with a unibody metal design and dual rear cameras with optical zoom and dual-tone LED flash that coincides with the image that had surfaced earlier.
It also reveals a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 625 and 4GB of RAM for the smartphone. Other specifications are still a mystery, but it will likely come with a fingerprint sensor.
The Xiaomi Mi 5X is expected to come in Black and Gold colors and is said to cost 1999 yuan (US$ 295 / Rs. 19,000 approx.). Xiaomi is rumored to introduce a new smartphone sub-brand on July 26, so the new phone could be introduced under a new name. We should know more details soon.
