Android creator Andy Rubin introduced the Essential Phone in May. Pre-order for the phone had began since the announcement and the phone was expected to start shipping this month but that it failed to meet the deadline. Now, Rubin has shared it’s close to shipping its new smartphone.

Rubin revealed via a tweet that the Essential Phone will start shipping in coming months. The phone is currently going through certification and testing with several U.S. and international carriers. It sports a 5.7-inch edge-to-edge display and is powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. It sports a titanium and ceramic body that offers it a premium look. The phone has a 13MP Dual RGB + Mono camera with image fusion technology and 8MP front camera.
The Essential Phone is priced at $699 and comes in four colors: Black Moon, Stellar Grey, Pure White and Ocean Depths
