One billion people now use WhatsApp every single day. The Facebook owned messaging app has reached this milestone a month after it announced that one billion people use WhatsApp every month.
WhatsApp also announced that users are now sending 55 billion messages per day, 4.5 billion photos and 1 billion videos, and it’s now at 1.3 billion monthly active users. Surprisingly, WhatsApp Status is used by 250 million users.
WhatsApp wrote in a blog post,
Whether it’s sharing personalized photos and videos, connecting through video calling, or keeping friends updated throughout the day with Status, communicating on WhatsApp has never been easier or more personal. We are humbled that so many people are using these new features to connect with one another in their own special way.
Last month Facebook announced it has over 2 billion monthly active users.
