OnePlus 5 OxygenOS 4.5.7 update brings new font, EIS for 4K video recording and more

OnePlus 5 got OxygenOS 4.5.6 hotfix update to fix and issue of reboot caused when dialing emergency numbers. Now it has rolled out OxygenOS 4.5.7 update that brings several new features, including a new OnePlus Slate font, finally brings EIS for 4K video recording, since it was only available for 1080p videos, Wi-Fi connectivity and battery standby improvements and several bug fixes.

Updates:

  • Updated Android security patch level to 1st July 2017
  • Updated to latest GMS package

Optimizations:

  • Wi-Fi connectivity improvements
  • Standby battery enhancements

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed occasional sound leaks in the speakers when using earphones
  • Fixed camera shutter sound bug in silent mode for Indian region
  • Fixed missing sound channels when recording videos

OxygenOS 4.5.7 OTA update for OnePlus 5 is 310MB in size, probably the biggest one since the first update and has 1st July 2017 Android security update.
