ASUS just announced the Zenfone 4 series at an event in Taiwan, as it had promised. This includes Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 4 Pro with dual rear cameras and the Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro and the Zenfone 4 Selfie with dual front-facing cameras. All these have a unibody design, 120-degree wide-angle lens for the front camera and a fingerprint sensor on the front. It also showcased the Zenfone 4 Max that was introduced last month along with the new Zenfone 4 Max Pro at the event.
The flagship ZenFone 4 Pro has 12-megapixel rear cameras with Sony IMX362 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, OIS and uses Qualcomm Spectra 180 ISP for fast focus. It also has a 16-megapixel secondary rear cameras with Sony IMX351 sensor for 2X optical zoom and a 10X total zoom as well as depth-of-field effect for portraits and close-ups with blurred background.
