Instagram will now allow you to post photo albums in landscape and portrait mode. Prior to the update, the app only allowed you to upload multiple photos as square images. This restricted users to crop photos into squares.
However, users will now have to choose either landscape or portrait format and stick with it. This means you cannot upload a portrait and landscape image to the same album. Instagram says this limitation is “to keep the experience smooth and consistent” across the app. Other tweaks include the ability to edit tagged people after you have posted. The app for iOS now lets you save posts as drafts if you are not ready to share them.
Instagram introduced multiple photo feature at the beginning of this year that allowed users to post up to 10 photos or videos in a single post. The latest update is now available for Instagram version 12 for Android and iOS.
