Apple unveils Beats Studio 3 noise cancelling headphones with W1 chip for $349.95

Apple has unveiled new Beats Studio 3 noise cancelling wireless headphones. The over-ear headphones comes with W1 chip that enables easy pairing with an iPhone or iPad.

The Beats Studio 3 also features Pure Adaptive Noise Cancelling which listens to your surroundings and algorithmically adjust the strength of noise cancellation to better match that. Beats claims its noise cancellation is more advanced than its competitors. With adaptive noise cancelling turned off, Studio 3 can get you up to 40 hours of usage and up to 22 hours with the feature turned on. You can charge these headphones with a microUSB connector, not Apple’s Lightning.

In terms of design, the headphones look similar to the previous generation. Beats says the ear cushions have been improved so as to be more comfortable for all-day wear. The Beats Studio 3 wireless headphones retail at $349.95 and come in Blue, Porcelain Rose, White, Red, Shadow Gray, or Matte Black.
