Last week Xiaomi confirmed that it will unveil Mi MIX 2, the company’s second-generation bezel-less smartphone in China on September 11th. Now it has revealed that it will also introduce Mi Note 3, smartphone, successor of last year’s Mi Note 2 along with it. It has also released a new teaser video that shows the design of both the phones.
Xiaomi has also announced Wu Yifan as their brand ambassador for the Mi Note 3 and the company’s CEO Lei Jun also appears in the teaser video holding the phone, showing off its face recognition features. According to the images, the phone doesn’t seem to have a fingerprint sensor on the back like the predecessor and it shows dual rear cameras.
The designer of the phone Philippe Starck also appears in the teaser holding the phone. Both the are expected to come with dual rear cameras and the Mi MIX 2 is expected to come with a glass back.
The Mi Note 3 is rumored to come with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, powered by Snapdragon 660, pack 6GB of RAM, 12-megapixel dual rear cameras, 16-megapixel front camera and come in 64GB and 128GB versions.
