Lenovo has launched a limited-edition ThinkPad Anniversary Edition 25, as part of its celebration of the 25th anniversary of the ThinkPad lineup. The original ThinkPad 700C announced on October 5, 1992. The new device is based on the ThinkPad T470 and has modern-day specifications.
It is powered by an Intel Core i7-7500U processor with discrete NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics and a 14-inch full HD display with touch. The device also comes with four different TrackPoint caps, including the one that comes pre-loaded on the device. Also present is a fingerprint reader that lets you log into Windows 10 with Windows Hello.
Connectivity options include USB-C port (Thunderbolt 3), three regular USB ports, an SD card reader, HDMI port, and Ethernet connectivity. The ThinkPad Anniversary Edition will be available in limited quantities in select countries, starting at $1899 USD.
