Vodafone takes on JioPhone, launches Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra 4G phone at an effective price of Rs. 999

After Airtel partnered with Karbonn for a 4G VoLTE phone, Vodafone has partnered with Micromax to take on Jiophone with the launch of Bharat 2 Ultra 4G smartphone at an effective price of Rs. 999.

Under this partnership, existing and new Vodafone customers will have to buy Micromax Bharat-2 Ultra smartphone for Rs.2,899 and will have do a recharge of at least Rs. 150 per month for 36 months. At the end of 18 months, users will receive a cash back of Rs. 900 and after another 18 months, a cash back of Rs. 1,000 respectively, in their Vodafone M-Pesa wallets.

Specifications of the Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra are similar to the Bharat 2 that was launched earlier this year. The phone will be available from November.
