Facebook Workplace for Desktop, Android and iOS updated with new look, easy navigation and more

One year after the launch, Facebook’s Workplace for Desktop, Android, and iOS gets updated with new design, look and feel of the platform, easy navigation and better conversations that will make the Workplace much easier to use.

The new update includes three crucial changes. With the latest update, you can now have productive conversations; the comment threads are more accessible to follow and join. The tweaked comment style now lets you easily see which comments are direct replies to other people. You can either use the chat or the group discussions to get your work done.

The company as part of this new update has changed the name of the Work Chat apps to Workplace Chat so that it will become easier to search in the PlayStore and AppStore. The update has also refreshed the look and feel of the Workplace. It changes the icon updates logo, and the Like, Comment and Share buttons are enlarged making it easy to tap.

The profile picture is now circular to see who’s posting or commenting. The preview links are now larger making them easier to read, and the color contrast to the typography is increased so that it’s more legible.

Another significant change to the new version is better navigations that will help you find the people and information you need on Workplace. Facebook updating the group bookmarks layout which you use most are easy to find. If you hover over someone’s name to know more information, it will now show you if they are online and where they sit in your org chart

To make the Workplace apps easier to find on your phone, the app icon color has been updated to the Workplace grey. You can download the latest Workplace Chat app from here.
