Instagram Story feature had a restriction of uploading photos or videos that you took in the last 24 hours. However, from today that isn’t the case as the company now lets you upload or post stories with photos and videos which you took more than 24 hours ago just like you normally do.
Like always you can easily find and choose anything from your camera roll or just tap the gallery icon to scroll and choose the photos or videos that you wish to upload to the stories feature. If you select a photo that is clicked more than 24 hours ago, you’ll automatically see a new sticker that helps you add context to when it was taken.
Like with other stickers, you can rotate, resize or remove the date sticker from your story before you share. While this feature has been available on Snapchat since 2016, it is only now that Snapchat has got the feature. The update is now available for both Android and iOS with version 18 for Android and 22 for iOS respectively.
