Beyerdynamic has launched DT 240 professional monitor headphones in India. The DT 240 professional headphones are aimed towards musicians, podcasters, and filmmakers. The company characterizes the headphones as clean, deep bass, lively mids, and clearly defined highs.
The Beyerdynamic DT 240 works the same on studio mixers as on the laptop or smartphone thanks to low-ohm acoustic transducers (34 ohms). It can operate on a frequency spectrum of 5Hz to 35,000 Hz and are rated at 32 ohms impedance, meaning you don’t need to shell out more on an amp to drive them. The headphones ensure the same level of performance in loud environments, thanks to the sound insulation and tightly fitted ear pads.
The DT240 rocks a compact-over-ear design which is achieved by a specially shaped ear cups and the detachable coiled cable and replaceable ear pads extend the life of the headphones. The SPL ranges from 99 dB Nominal to 119 dB max SPL. The headphones come with a 1.25m long coiled detachable cable and weigh at 196g.
The Beyerdynamic DT 240 professional monitor headphones come in matte black color and is priced at Rs. 7, 500 in India. It will be available from authorized specialist stores and company’s online store.
