This week Flipkart launched Billion Capture+ smartphone under new Billion brand, Nokia launched new 3GB version of Nokia 5, Alcatel launched A5 LED and A7 smartphones, Panasonic launched new Eluga I5 and Eluga A4 smartphones, and lots more in weekly roundup.

Flipkart this week launched Billion Capture+ smartphone with a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass screen with Dragontrail glass protection, Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 Mobile Platform, Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) Dual 13-megapixel rear (RGB + Monochrome) camera with dual-tone LED flash, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, metal body, fingerprint sensor on the back and  a 3500mAh battery with up to 2 days of battery life and fast charging.

It comes in Mystic Black and Desert Gold colors, is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version and Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and will be available from November 15th exclusively on Flipkart.

HMD Global this week launched 3GB RAM version of Nokia 5  in India. Apart from the RAM, other specifications are similar to the original Nokia 5, including a 5.2-inch HD screen, Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 Mobile Platform, Android 7.1 (Nougat), which is upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo), 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera and a 3000mAh battery.

It comes in Matte Black and Tempered Blue colors, is priced at Rs. 13,499 (MOP) and is available from Flipkart online and will also be available from select retail outlets in the country from November 14th.

Panasonic this week launched Eluga A4 with  a 5000mAh battery, 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display,  quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, Android 7.0 (Nougat), 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, Panasonic’s own ARBO AI-based assistant and a fingerprint sensor on the back.  It comes in Mocha Gold, Marine Blue, Champagne Gold colors, is priced at Rs. 12,490 and is available from retail stores across India.

Panasonic also launched Eluga I5, successor of Eluga I4 smartphone in the Eluga series with support for 4G VoLTE. It has a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass screen with Asahi Dragon Trail Glass, quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, Android 7.0 (Nougat), 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, metal body, fingerprint sensor on the back and  a 2500mAh battery. It comes in Black and Gold colors, is priced at Rs. 6499 and is available exclusively from Flipkart.

Alcatel this week launched A5 LED and A7 smartphones in India. The A5 LED was introduced at the MWC earlier this and comes with LIGHTUP+ MOD that lights up with colors in different patterns. You can assign different LED cover patterns for incoming calls, messages, alarms, and social media alerts. The LED back cover is removable. The A7 comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, has a 16-megapixel rear camera and packs a 4000mAh battery.

The Alcatel A5 LED comes in Metallic Silver color, is priced at Rs. 12,999 and is available exclusively from Amazon.in. It also comes with 3100mAh Alcatel Power+ PC01C Mod  worth Rs. 3999. The Alcatel A7 comes in Metallic Gold and Metallic Black color, is priced at Rs. 13,999 and is available exclusively from Amazon.in. It comes with free TCL moveband fitness tracker, worth Rs. 2,499.

Huawei this week launched Band 2 and Band 2 Pro fitness track and Huawei Fit fitness watch in India. The Band 2 series come with 24X7 heart rate monitoring and Band 2 Pro features VO2 Max which measures the amount of oxygen your body can take in and also has GPS. These also come with 5ATM water-proofing technology which protects it for up to 50 meters inside the water The Huawei Fit fitness watch has heart rate monitoring, automatic step counting, sleep tracking and support for multi-sport activities.

The Band 2 and Band 2 Pro are priced at Rs. 4599 and Rs. 6999, respectively and are available from Amazon.in. The Huawei Fit comes in small and large sizes and Black, Blue and Orange bands, is priced at Rs. 9999 and is available from Amazon.in.

Beyerdynamic this week launched DT 240 professional monitor headphones in India. The DT 240 professional headphones are aimed towards musicians, podcasters, and filmmakers. The company characterizes the headphones as clean, deep bass, lively mids, and clearly defined highs. It comes in matte black color and is priced at Rs. 7, 500 in India. It will be available from authorized specialist stores and company’s online store.

Vivo this week introduced Y79 smartphone with similar specifications. It has a 5.99-inch (1440 x 720 pixels) FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio, narrow bezels and 84.4% screen-to-body ratio, 24-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash and 16-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and LED flash, similar to the V7+, but this is powered by Snapdragon 625 instead of Snapdragon 450.

It comes in Rose Gold, Champagne Gold and Matte Black colors, is priced at 2498 yuan (US$ 376 / Rs. 24470) and is available in China.
