OnePlus 5T Hands On and Photo Gallery

OnePlus today introduced the flagship OnePlus 5T smartphone. We already brought you the unboxing of the phone, here we will take a detailed look at specifications and hardware in the form of photo gallery.

The phone features a 6.01-inch (2106 ×1080 pixels) Full HD+ Optic AMOLED 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display. It is powered by a 2.45GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform and comes with 6GB or 8GB RAM depending on the model.

Up front there is a 16MP camera Sony IMX371 sensor, an earpiece and usual set of proximity and ambient light sensors. It also has a new face unlock feature that uses over 100 facial feature identity points to securely unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds.

It uses on-screen buttons and the home button with fingerprint sensor that was present on the OnePlus 5 has been removed, so it has a fingerprint on the back.

The power button and Dual SIM card holder is present on the right.

The left side houses volume rockers and the alert slider.

On the bottom there is a 3.5mm audio headphone jack, USB Type-C Port and loudspeaker grill, similar to the OnePlus 5. The phone measures 156.1x75x7.3mm and weighs 162 grams.

On the back there is slight bump for the dual cameras. It has the same 16-megapixel primary rear camera with wide-angle lens and large f/1.7 aperture, but the telephoto lens that was present on the OnePlus 5 has been replaced by a 20-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture for better low-light photography and improved depth-of-field (bokeh) effect that blurs backdrops in portrait mode.

The OnePlus 5T sports an Anodized Aluminum unibody metal design. Even though it features a large screen, it has a sleek design making it easier to handle the phone. It has the same 3300mAh battery with support for Dash Charge fast charging.

It is priced at Rs. 32,999 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and the top-end 8GB RAM with 128GB version costs Rs. 37,999. It will be available exclusively from Amazon.in starting from 4:30PM on November 21st during early sale and will be available for all from November 28th thorough OnePlus India Online Store, Amazon as well as OnePlus Experience Stores.
