Samsung introduced its flagship Galaxy S8 smartphone earlier this year in Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver, and Maple Gold colors. Today it has introduced new Burgundy Red color variant for the smartphone.
Other specifications are similar, including a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ infinity screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and the back, Iris scanner on the front, fingerprint sensor, heart rate monitor and water resistance up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes with IP68 ratings, 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera, 8MP auto focus front-facing camera and a 3000mAh battery with fast charging both on wired and wireless (WPC and PMA).
Regarding the new Burgundy Red color, Samsung said:
The new, luxurious hue accentuates the elegance of the Galaxy S8’s ergonomic glass and metal form, creating a seamless and refined aesthetic that will resonate with a wide range of tastes.
The new Galaxy S8 Burgundy Red version will be available first in Korea beginning today, November 28, before rolling out to select markets gradually.
