HMD Global launched the Nokia 2, budget smartphone in India last week. Here we have the unboxing of the smartphone.

The Nokia 2 comes with a 5-inch HD LTPS LCD In-Cell Touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by 1.27GHz quad-core Snapdragon 212 Mobile Platform with 1GB of RAM. Running on stock Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) OS, it is upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo). It comes with a 5-megapixel camera on the front and has on-screen buttons even though there is a large bezel below the display.
It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and features a removable polycarbonate back cover. It features a metal 6000 series aluminum frame. The build quality of the phone is good and the smooth back cover doesn’t feel slippery in hands.
Removing the battery reveals the huge 4100mAh battery. One the left side of the camera there is a primary nano SIM slot. On the right there is a microSD card slot and a secondary nano SIM slot. The phone also comes in Pewter White and Copper Black colors. It is priced at Rs. 6,999 and is available from offline retailers across India.
