Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 and Snapdragon 640 specifications surface

Qualcomm introduced Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 630 high-end Mobile Platforms back in May this year, which is being used in most top-end and mid-rage phones. Now specifications of their successors – Snapdragon 670 and Snapdragon 640 have surfaced in China. According to the rumors, Qualcomm will finally move to 10nm LPP processor technology for its high-end “Snapdragon 600” series with the Snapdragon 670, but it will stick to 14nm LPP tech for the mid-range Snapdragon 640 SoC.

According to the spec sheet, the Snapdragon 670 will be an Octa-Core SoC with Quad 2.0 GHz Kryo 360 + Quad 1.6GHz Kryo 385 CPUs with Adreno 620 GPU and Integrated Snapdragon X16 LTE modem.

The Snapdragon 670 will also be an Octa-Core SoC, but this will have Dual 2.15 GHz Kryo 360 + Hexa 1.55GHz Kryo 360 CPUs  with Adreno 610 GPU and Integrated Snapdragon X12 LTE modem. Both will feature Dual 14-bit Spectra 260 ISP for Up to 26 MP single camera, Up to 13 MP dual camera. These will likely include 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, NFC and Qualcomm Quick Charge 4/4+ technology.

The Snapdragon 670 and Snapdragon 640 are expected to be unveiled sometime in early 2018, probably during the CES or MWC 2018.
