OnePlus has finally started rolling out stable Android 8.0 (Oreo) update for the OnePlus 5T smartphone with OxygenOS 5.0.2, as it had promised at the launch. This comes a month after the first Oreo open beta update. The same version of OxygenOS stable update is also available for the OnePlus 5 that brings Face Unlock and enhancements to EIS when recording videos.
The update also includes new CPU security patch, updates to OnePlus applications as well as general bug fixes and improvements for both the phones.

The OnePlus 5T OxygenOS 5.0.2 update is 1688MB in size and the update for the OnePlus 5 is 1658MB in size. Both these still have Android security patch for December 2017.
