After launching Quantum Pixelight 65-inch and 75-inch 4K HDR LED TVs in India, Vu today sent out invites for the launch its first Android TV in the country on March 13th. The company says that it is the first company to bring licenced Android TV running Android 7.0 (Nougat) to India.
Even though the TV runs Andorid Nougat, it is upgradable to future versions. Since it is based on Android TV, is has built in Chromecast support.
We should know the panel size, connectivity options and the price of the TV when it launches next Tuesday. We will also have to wait to see if this will compete with Xiaomi’s 55-inch 4K Mi TV 4 that was launched in the country last month.
