HMD Global launched the Nokia 7 Plus Android One smartphone in India last week, which goes on sale later this month. We already brought you the hands on impressions of the phone from the MWC. Here we have the unboxing of the smartphone.

The Nokia 7 Plus is the first smartphone from the company that comes with 18:9 aspect ratio display. It has a large 6-inch display with a resolution of 2160 by 1080 pixels and a pixel density of about 402 PPI. The display is bright. There is a 16-megapixel camera on the front with ZEISS optics. You can also find a bezel below the screen even through the phone has on-screen buttons. It is powered by Snapdragon 660 with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM.
Our unit came with Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box, but it got an update to Android 8.1 with latest April 2018 Android security patch. It also has Treble support for quicker Android updates. At the launch event HMD Global promised to offer latest Android security updates every month and also update to Android P.
The phone comes with hybrid Dual SIM slot with support for dual nano SIMs or a nano SIM and a microSD.
The phone has a unibody metal design made of 6000 series aluminium and has a matte finish on the back. It has a solid build quality. It packs a 3800mAh battery with support for fast charging and promises 2 days of battery life.
It is priced at Rs. 25,999 and goes on sale from 30th April with pre-bookings starting from April 20th on Amazon.in online, offline as well as Nokia mobile shop online.
