HMD Global has announced that Nokia 3 will begin to receive the Android 8.0 (Oreo) update from today. It rollled out Android 8.1 Oreo update for the Nokia 8 smartphone in February and for the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 last month.

With Android Oreo on the Nokia 3, you can enjoy the latest features, including Picture-in-Picture mode and 60 new emojis to express yourself better. Android Instant Apps declutter your already pure Android experience further while helping the Nokia 3’s optimised battery last even longer by limiting background app use.
No one has reported that they have received the update, but it should be rolling out from today. The company already confirmed that the Nokia 2 will get Android 8.1 update directly from Android 7.1 and will also include memory management features.
