Xiaomi at its Mi POP event in Mumbai officially launched the new Mi Music app with Hungama Music integration. This was rolled out in beta for Xiaomi users back in March. With the partnership, over 10 million tracks will be available for free for streaming across 13 Indian languages as well as international languages.
You will just have to pay if you want to download the song for offline listening with Hungama Pro package within Mi Music, which costs Rs. 899 per annum, but you can get it at just Rs. 499 as a part of introductory offer for three months. Xiaomi said that Mi Music in India has nearly 7 million Daily Active Users.

The Mi Music also gets Dynamic lyrics for Karaoke lovers that lets you sing along with lyrics of your favourite track or jump onto your favourite part of the song with just one click.
The company plans to add Music Videos, Personalized recommendations, Themes and more songs to the Mi Music app in future.
Coming to Mi Video, it gets video content integration and a more powerful local video player, after it was teased in beta back in March. Mi Video content is powered by Hungama Play, SonyLiv and Voot currently, with Sun NXT, ALT Balaji, Zee5, Viu, TVF and Flickstree coming soon.

Currently, Mi Video offers more than 500,000 hours of content with nearly 80% free content. The service currently offers more than 12 video formats such as AVI, MP4, MOV, MKV, and MKA, MPEG, M2TS amongst others. It also supports multilingual subtitles, private folders, and multiple audio tracks. Mi Video also offers one tap cast to any Smart TV with DLNA and Miracast support. It also has support for 15 Indian languages.
Xioami plans to add more content, personalised recommendations, Floating player (Picture in Picture), Languages and Genre filter and Playback speed option soon. Stable Mi Video option with the new feature will be rolling out starting from the second week of May.
