Instead of calling the media alone, since the launches of OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T, OnePlus has also sold 1500 entry vouchers for its core fans who wish to attend the launch event and experience the phone first-hand. The India launch event for the OnePlus 6 is set to take place in Mumbai on May 17th.
Entry tickets went on sale this morning, the 8th of May, 2018 at 10:00am and tickets were sold out within 4 minutes. This was not surprising considering cult-like following that OnePlus and how much fans have been vying for tickets to attend the biggest-ever community event in OnePlus history.
“For the Mumbai event, tickets have been purchased by community members from all over India, including Ujjain, Allahabad and Coonoor and cities like Bangalore and Delhi, with hundreds of fans traveling exclusively for the launch event,” said OnePlus.
The company already announced that the fans who attend the launch event will receive a gift hamper full of super add-ons including a OnePlus Tote Bag, Marvel Avengers Cap, Marvel Avengers T-shirt, OnePlus Notebook, Cash Cannon and OnePlus Voucher for Rs.999.
OnePlus at the launch event will not only provide all the details of the OnePlus 6, it will also reveal the price for India at the event. After the event it will also give the attendees to be among the first to experience the all new smartphone.

Amazon Prime members will be able to buy the OnePlus 6 in an exclusive sale beginning at 12:00 IST on 21st May 2018, and ‘Notify me’ registrations for the sale started last month for which OnePlus has already received 1 million hits. The company will also launch the OnePlus 6 x Marvel Avengers Limited Edition along with the OnePlus 6 on May 17th.
OnePlus recently gave a its fans a chance to see the OnePlus6 early at the Open Ears Forum: OxygenOS – San Francisco, and their reactions were mind-blowing.
