Nokia announced three new mid-range and low range camera phones: the Nokia 6700 classic, the Nokia 6303 classic and the Nokia 2700 classic.
The Nokia 6700 classic, which continues the legacy of one of the company’s most successful products, the Nokia 6300.
All the 3 phone are powered by Nokia S40 Platform
“Our new arrival shares the same ‘DNA’ as its predecessor and we believe that it will be one of our best selling devices in 2009,” said Soren Petersen, SVP, Nokia.
The Nokia 6700 comes with a 5 megapixel camera, assisted GPS navigation with Nokia Maps. Nokia gives an an estimated retail price of INR 15000, before taxes and subsidies
At an estimated retail price of INR 9000, before taxes and subsidies, the Nokia 6303 classic has a 3.2 megapixel camera, 2.2 inch screen, pre-loaded Nokia Maps and standard 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Nokia 2700 classic comes with am estimated price tag of INR 4200 before taxes and subsidies. It is one of Nokia’s most affordable phones.It’s real value for money as its very affordable yet not poor on features . Its got a 2 MP Camera , Music support and even a 3.5mm jack .. The display is a nice 2 inches and sports a 240×320 resolution . Memory is expandable by microSD card
All three devices are expected to ship in the second quarter of 2009.
