Back in February Instagram started testing screenshot alerts for stories and months after its functioning, the company seems to have put an end to it. Instagram has confirmed the same by saying that it is no longer testing a feature that would let people see when someone took a screenshot of their story.
This is an incredible news for those who are into the screenshot business, but no so much for those who wish to keep an eye on all creepers. The screenshot alerts would show users when someone takes a screenshot of their story.
However, since it was in testing phase, it was only limited to selected users. This move is unlike Snapchat who famously tells users if their content has been screenshot. You can still see who viewed your story on Instagram by swiping up.
