Amazon just announced Prime Day 2018 will take place on July 16th globally, including India, which will start at 12 noon. This year it will launch over 200 exclusive new product launches from top brands in India first to Prime members, will offer thousands of deals on the most sought after products at the lowest prices of the year including on Amazon Echo family of devices, Fire TV Stick, All New Kindle, Kindle Oasis and Kindle Paperwhite, as well as deals on Mobiles, TVs, Laptops, Appliances, Fashion and Everyday Essentials.
It will release 7 new Prime Video titles beginning July 10 including the latest Bollywood blockbuster Raazi and the premiere of all-new Amazon Prime Original series Comicstaan on July 13.
It will offer 10% instant discount with HDFC Bank Debit & Credit Cards, 10% cashback on Amazon Pay balance, Exchange offers on mobiles & appliances and No Cost EMI on over 8000 products. There are also special Prime member only offers from Partners – Prime members can avail special offers starting July 9 through Prime Day from Dominos, BookMyShow, Cleartrip and Faasos when they pay with Amazon Pay balance.
For the first time it will let customers experience launches from top brands in Virtual Reality (VR) at select malls in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata.
Amazon Prime Music is launching specially curated playlists in several Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Malayalam, Gujarati, Rajasthani, Bengali and two new languages Assamese & Odia. Starting July 3 through Prime Day, Prime members who play three songs from the millions of songs on Amazon Prime Music stand a chance to win two Echo Dots every day.
