Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone in India in 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB (eMMC 5.0) storage. Later it introduced the same phone as Redmi Note 5 with better specifications in China, but with the same 64GB storage. Now the company has introduced the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version of the smartphone in China. This comes after the Flame Red version of the smartphone that was introduced last month.
To remind you, the Chinese version of the smartphone with the same 5.99-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass screen, Snapdragon 636 SoC, Hybrid Dual SIM slot, 4000mAh battery and a 12-megapixel rear camera, same as the Indian version, but this has a f/1.9 aperture camera with 1.4μm pixel size, Dual PD dual-core speed focus for fast and accurate focus, 5-megapixel secondary camera, 13-megapixel front camera, Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Treble support, Dual 4G VoLTE support and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 (Redmi Note 5 Pro) 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 1699 yuan (US$ 249 / Rs. 17,210 approx.) and will go on sale from July 27th.
