OPPO has started teasing the F9 and F9 Pro, the company’s upcoming mid-range smartphones in the ‘F series’ in Malaysia and India. These teasers show a notch display like Sharp or Essential smartphones and dual rear cameras. These look similar to the models PBCM00 and PBCT00 that were certified recently and are expected to be introduced in China as R17 and R17 Pro. The F9 Pro will come with VOOC Flash charge that promises 2 hours aof talk time in 5-minute charge.

This revealed a 6.3-inch display, which could feature 19:9 aspect ratio OLED display, dual rear cameras, 156.7x74x7.9mm dimensions and a 3415mAh battery. OPPO R17 Pro is rumored be powered Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and a 16MP primary rear camera. The F9 / R17 series of smartphones are expected to feature 3D face unlock.
Since the ‘F series’ smartphones are usually launched in Asian countries first, we can expect the official teaser from other countries soon. We can expect the OPPO F9 Pro to launch in India in August and the F9 later.
