After V30+, LG has finally started rolling out Android 8.0 (Oreo) update for the LG G6 smartphone in India. This will turn the phone into LG G6 ThinQ and also brings out several new features, including new camera app layout, but it doesn’t bring AI Cam like the V30+. After updating, the start screen of the device will now show LG G6 ThinQ branding instead of LG G6.
The LG G6 Android Oreo update is 1.81GB in size, comes with build number OPRR1.170623.032 and software version V20f-IND-XX. It also includes Android security patch for July, 2018. Check out the complete changelog below.
