Samsung Galaxy A (2019) with triple rear cameras could include a 32MP sensor

Samsung is rumored to launch its 2019 flagships and mid-range phones with triple rear cameras. Now according to the latest reports from Korea, we are getting to see more details on the megapixel count from the said devices. The 2019 Galaxy A phones said to come with a 32-megapixel primary camera at the back, supported by 8-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors.

If you were waiting for high-end Galaxy phone with bigger camera sensors, you can opt the Galaxy A series whenever it launches. Currently, the highest resolution camera on a Samsung phone is on the Galaxy A9 Star, which has a 24MP + 16MP setup at the back and a 24MP selfie camera. Now reports say that Samsung is toying with the idea of going as high as a 40-megapixel sensor. While this might be a substantial jump, it wouldn’t be completely surprising to see on an A series device.

The triple camera setup is being developed with a combination of 12MP wide angle, 13MP telephoto, and 16MP super wide angle camera. However, it needs to see how much of the image quality will improve with the new bigger sensor on these said Galaxy A smartphones in 2019. One thing that is clear is that Samsung’s mid-range smartphones will continue to have bigger camera numbers than flagships even in 2019.
