The Nikon Z7 comes with an ISO range of 64-25,000, a 493-point autofocus system, 9fps continuous shooting and ability to record 4K UHD videos. It comes with built-in 5 axis vibration reduction, meaning you can expect a stabilized photo and video shoots. It sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen LCD OLED panel for displaying basic information, and a 3.69 million dot high-res OLED electronic viewfinder which Nikon says covers approximately 100 percent of the frame.
Furthermore, the Z7 offers a completely silent shooting mode. It comes with 3.5mm headphone jack and a microphone. The Z7 can also capture 120fps footage with audio. Since it is a fresh series, the Z7 rocks a completely new body system dubbed “Z-mount.”

Each has a rear touch display for both menu and shooting functions.

It can also record 10-bit 4K video with Nikon’s N-log color profile via the HDMI port to an Atomos or another recorder. It is also introducing a Z-Mount which has a 16mm flange distance, a third of that on the F-mount, and a 55 mm diameter that’s 17 percent larger.
The company is also launching three native Z-mount lenses with the Z7; a 24-70mm f.4.0, 35mm f/1.8 and 50mm f/1.8. It’s also developing an insane 50mm f/0.9 lens for its Z-mount camera. There’s only one memory card slot and you’ll need an XQD memory card for the Z7.
The CFexpress Type B card support will be coming via a future firmware update. In terms of connectivity, it comes with USB-C, Bluetooth and WiFi via Nikon’s SnapBridge, and a “PC Ready” feature that’ll let you transfer images wirelessly to a desktop or laptop.
