Update: Discounted price is only available in the Maharashtra and Goa region through offline stores, confirmed the dealer, hence the source Tweet has been deleted to avoid the confusion. Hope Samsung expands it to other regions as well in the future.
Earlier: Samsung launched the Galaxy S8 smartphone in India back in April last year for Rs. 64,900. Few months it got a price cut to Rs. 58,900, and to Rs.53,990 in April. Today the phone has received whopping Rs. 12,000 price cut and is available for Rs. 39,990 (MOP).
This comes months after the launch of Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones and a week after the Galaxy Note9 in the country. Looks like the Galaxy S8 and the 128GB Galaxy S8+ are not fast moving so the phones did not receive any price cut.
You can get the Galaxy S8+ at the new rate from offline stores, and it should be available at the new rate soon from Samsung Shop online, as well as Flipkart . Paytm is offering Rs. 8,000 cashback, in addition to the price cut.
