A few days back Xiaomi shared the 3D renders of the purported Mi Mix 3, but now, Donovan Sung, Director of Product Management, Xiaomi has posted the real photo of the phone itself and revealed the support for 5G as well.
If the report turns out to be true, Mi Mix 3 will likely to sport an FHD+ AMOLED display with a screen-to-body ratio of over 90%, Snapdragon 845 with up to 8GB, and similar AI dual rear cameras. It is doubtful if there will be an in-display fingerprint sensor, but there might be a special edition with the feature, like the Mi 8 Explorer Edition.
Talking about 5G, Donovan Sung mentions that the 5G speed will be more than 10x faster than 4G speeds. According to the company’s CEO Lei Jun, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will be launched sometime in October. It’s worth mentioning here that the photos reveal the Mi Mix 3 using various bands for the 5G connectivity.
Having said that, a lot of factors depend on the kind of networks that operators roll out around the world.
