Xiaomi announced MIUI 10 back in June with many fresh changes including Interactive and Fresh UI changes, Full-screen gestures, New Notification Panel, Redesigned Volume Sliders, and Improved multitasking management. MIUI Security app got a UI overhaul in July, to recall MIUI security app offers an inbuilt Cache Cleaner, Security Scan, Game Speed Booster, App Lock, and Blocklist to provide a secure and fluid experience.
All of us are part of many groups on WhatsApp, and we all get those viral videos again and again in different groups. People even send Good Morning, Good Night images/GIFs on a regular basis, and with every passing day, the spam on the phone storage keeps increasing. Deleting this spam manually to keep the phone clean becomes a tedious task for most of us, and that’s what Xiaomi is addressing with new WhatsApp cleaner that is introduced under MIUI Security app. WhatsApp cleaner scans the WhatsApp folder on the device and lists the WhatsApp media under different sections such as Images, Videos, Documents, GIFs and others.
Apart from WhatsApp cleaner, Xiaomi has also introduced First Aid and Test network features under MIUI Security app. First Aid scans device for Performance, Network, and Battery related issues and suggests the available solution in case any issue is detected.
Test network feature scans Signal strength, Wi-Fi network strength, Restricted connections for different apps and it also suggests the available solution in case any issue is detected.
The latest update also adds Cashify and OneAssist integration inside the app. There is also a new hardware test option.
