OnePlus Type-C Bullets earphones announced in India for Rs. 1490

OnePlus just announced Type-C Bullets, the company’s latest in-ear earphones. The company said that it is more than just an update on Bullets V2 that was launched back in 2016. It has several improvements and modifications to deliver crisp, powerful sound. It has a metal design, cable made of aramid fibers that makes the Type-C Bullets more resistant to stretching.

It has a DAC in partnership with Cirrus Logic offering higher dynamic range, more powerful bass, higher signal-to-noise ratio and less background noise. Type C Bullets are compatible with any Type C USB port, and pair with OnePlus devices, allowing users to adjust the sound enhancement configuration for a more customized sound.

The OnePlus Type-C Bullets will be launched alongside the company’s next flagship (6T) in Q4 2018 for Rs. 1,490 and will be available across online and offline channels. This makes it clear that the OnePlus 6T will lack the headphone jack. We should know more details soon.

Regarding the earphones, OnePlus said:

Our original goal with the Type-C Bullets was to bring the Bullets V2 audio standards to Type-C headsets. As we progressed with the project, we found many elements to further improve your listening experience.

According to a survey conducted by OnePlus, in early 2017, 80% of users used in-jack headphones regularly, while, in a poll in 2018, that number dropped drastically with 59% of users switching to wireless headsets. OnePlus is again demonstrating its flexibility, offering options for different users by developing Type C Bullets to complement the already revered Bullets Wireless.
