Samsung is on its way to launch the Galaxy S10 which is its prestigious 10th-anniversary flagship and given that this year’s S9 was a minor upgrade, Samsung is planning on ticking every box to make the upcoming Galaxy S10 big. DJ Koh, CEO of Samsung’s mobile division, confirmed that the Galaxy S10 design changes will be “very significant.”
However, Koh didn’t go into the specifics of these changes and might be referring to the overall design of the flagship compared to the S9. It is also confirmed that the S10 won’t be the much-awaited foldable smartphone. It might look alike the regular S-series flagship but with improved screen-to-body ratio and a slimmer profile.
It might also feature triple-rear cameras in the high-end variant and that right there is a new design element to the Galaxy S series. Furthermore, Koh also mentioned that the Galaxy S10 will be available in “amazing” colors so it’s possible that the company might be working on new color options for the Galaxy S10. There’s also a possibility that Samsung introduces new gradient and emerald green color options with its next flagship.
According to rumors, the Galaxy S10 and the S10 Plus said to come in three variants; 5.8-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.4-inch models and pack a Qualcomm built-in-display fingerprint scanner. Since there’s a long way to go for the S10 launch, we can expect to see more details to flow as we move along.
