Samsung is reportedly working on a smartphone; the Galaxy A that might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. The company recently confirmed that it will be launching a smartphone with four rear cameras. It is also possible that Samsung could price the phone slightly lesser than its current flagships.
However, details about the so-called smartphone are scarce at the moment but our educated guess suggests an 18.5:9 tall SUPER AMOLED display with reduced top and bottom bezels, improved dual-rear cameras. Moving on, the high-end processor might be accompanied with 4/6GB RAM with 64/128GB storage options. It is also possible that the phone might run on Android 9.0 Pie, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Android 8.1 Oreo come pre-installed.
At this moment, it is unclear when Samsung is aiming to launch or introduce the Galaxy A series phone with Snapdragon 845 since rumors also suggest a slim down variant of Galaxy A with Snapdragon 710. So, it is better to wait until we hear more details come our way. The company recently sent out invites for the launch of the new Galaxy smartphone which is said to pack four rear cameras.
