Chinese handset maker Meizu today introduced the EP52 Lite earphones targeted at runners and outdoor users under the EP series. Since EP52 works over Bluetooth, it is completely wireless and at a mere 16 grams, these headphones are fairly lightweight as well.
Considering these earphones are waterproof (IPX5), the earbuds feature a nano-coating that makes it sweat and waterproof.
According to the specs sheet, the earphones use Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX, have an impedance of 32ohms, sensitivity of 106dB @ 1kHz, with a maximum power output of 10mW.
As per the company claims users will get about 8 hours of continuous music playback with a single charge, while they can function for 150 hours on standby while being hooked up to your phone via Bluetooth (Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX).
Along with the earphones, the company has launched Power Bank 3 with two-way fast charging technology. The 10000mAh power bank comes with two USB ports for charging multiple devices simultaneously. It measures 142×70.8x14mm and has an unibody metal design. It has 9V/2A 18W input so it can be charged fully in 3.5 hours. Compared to its predecessor, the charging speed has been increased by nearly 30%
The Meizu EP52 Lite earphones come in Blue, Gray and White colors and costs at 129 yuan (US$ 18.8 / Rs. 1,370 approx). The Meizu Power Bank 3 10,000mAh power bank comes in White and Black colors, costs 79 yuan (US$ 11.5 / Rs. 840 approx.).
