Xiaomi opens Mi Home Experience Store in Bengaluru

After Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi, Xiaomi has opened its first Mi Home Experience Store in Bengaluru. Located at its office in Embassy Tech Village, Devarabisanahalli, the store offers all the products that have launched in India and also showcases some of the products that were launched globally such as Mi Projector, Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner, Mi Washing Machine, Mi Heater, Mi Bike, Mi Scooter and Mi Ninebot.

The new Mi Home Experience Store spans over 2000 sq. ft, and will be the 50th Mi Home in India.  The company recently opened its first COCO store in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, after the government allowed 100% automated SBRT.

Xiaomi has also announced that this is a COCO (company owned company operated) Mi Experience Store. The company will continue to expand its experience stores in the country, in addition to Mi Home stores to gather  valuable feedback about the next Xiaomi product to launch in India.

Xiaomi recently announced that it aims to reach 100 Mi Home Stores in 2018 itself, earlier than its 2-year time-frame, which is mid-2019.

On opening a Mi Home Experience Store in its office, Anuj Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer, Xiaomi India, said:

This is a special milestone for Xiaomi India with our 50th Mi Home unveiling new, transformational retail opportunities through our COCO efforts, while bringing the best of shopping experience to customers in India. Besides fulfilling our goal of strengthening offline presence in the nation, Mi Home also brings our New Retail concept to life by ensuring our e-commerce efficiency reaches our retail customers as they continue enjoying the benefits of an intimate retail user experience. We hope that our Mi Fans and customers in Bengaluru take the opportunity to visit this symbolic store and make the most of our innovative product line-up.
