TCL 65X4 65-inch 4K UHD HDR QLED Android TV with Harman Kardon speakers launched in India

TCL Electronics has launched the 65X, India’s first Google-certified Android QLED TV. It comes with Harman Kardon speakers and packs 4K UHD display with HDR features enable it to reproduce all shades of light and natural color in stunning detail.

It sports a 65-inch 4K UHD ( 3,840 x 2,160 pixels) with micro dimming technology that will provide fantastic color contrast and vivid picture quality. The Quantum Dot QLED technology replicates real-world color volumes, while MEMC (120 Hz) enhanced with TCL’s proprietary algorithm ensures that viewers can experience every detail of fast-moving, action-packed content on both TV and multimedia signals. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

The TCL 65X4 comes with Harman Kardon speakers, Dolby’s advanced DTS post-processing technology. It is powered by the 64-bit Quad-core CPU and Dual-core GPU with 2.5 GB RAM and 16 GB storage. It comes with voice search feature that allows users to navigate using simple voice controls. There is a built-in Chromecast feature allowing users to cast their favorite games, videos, and apps from their mobile phones.

The company has also launched the TCL S6500 which also comes with an in-built Google Assistant and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. It packs top-of-the-line features such as IPQ engine, HDR 10 support, micro dimming, Dolby Surround Sound, Google Chromecast, and white LED HD backlight. It packs 1.5GB RAM and 8GB storage.

The TCL 65X4 will be available from October 25th on Amazon.in, and will later become available through retails outlets across India. It is priced at Rs. 1,49,990 but will be available under a special festival season offer for Rs. 1,09,990 on Amazon.

The company said that it will further strengthen its Android TV portfolio with the launch of a full range of AI TVs under its S6500 Series, which comes equipped with Google-certified Android 8 Oreo with AI Assistance and is available in 32”/40”/43”/49” variants. The S6500 series will be available across India in all major online and offline channels from October 15 at Rs. 16,990 for the 32-inch model, Rs. 24,990 for 40-inch, Rs. 27,990 for 43-inch  and Rs. 31,990 for the 49-inch model.
